We collect only what we need to respond to you and do the work you ask for — and we never sell it.

What we collect
- Information you send us — your name, email address, phone number, address, property details and anything you write in the quote or contact form, or tell us by phone or email.
- Technical information — our website is a static site. It does not set tracking cookies or run advertising trackers. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, arrange a consultation and prepare a quote.
- To carry out and support the work you hire us for, including permits, inspections and rebate applications you ask us to help with.
- To keep records we are legally required to keep (for example, invoices and electrical permits).
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not send marketing email without your consent.
Forms and third parties
Quote requests submitted on this site are delivered to us through Google Forms, and email is handled by our email provider. Those providers process the data on our behalf under their own privacy policies. When you apply for a rebate, the information you authorize us to submit is shared with the relevant program administrator (for example, Efficiency Nova Scotia or Natural Resources Canada).
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up. Records connected to completed work are kept for the period required by tax, warranty and electrical-permit rules, then deleted or anonymized.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email info@smarteheatpumps.com or call 902-220-4182. We will respond within 30 days.

This website is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it to serve you.
